Backyard Complete

The final piece to our backyard. The gazebo was from Orchard Supply and they were having a sale. The patio furniture was from Home Depot. Erik helped with his truck in bringing it over to the house. Candice and I worked on both at the same time; she was on the furniture and I had the gazebo. It took us about 5 hours with a lunch break in the middle. The gazebo was tough and it needed 2 people to take on the task. Now we can have people over and enjoy the outdoors.

P90X

So I've seen the infomercials of P90X for a couple years now. I heard that one friend did this religiously and the results were amazing. So far my workout includes pushups, ab workout, jogging, and free weights. But I dont ever stick to a specific routine and reps. I just do it whenever I can when I get around to it. I thought I'd try a workout in the morning before work; sleep has overcome me more.

The other thing is that I like to eat. I think I can keep eating and eating whenever. P90X does have a diet that you can stick to, but it's a little overboard for me. So I'm not expecting to be 30lbs lighter after the 90days. I'm going to try my best to stick to the schedule. I still have a life and have other things going on after work. With the summer approaching, I won't have tutoring every night to interfere.

So this Monday will be my first day... So until then, I'm doing some research and working out a solution for my diet because I dont want to take out the joy of living and having fun. I mean c'mon the Young's Thanksgiving is like a smorgasbord and we Youngs like to eat.

Petsmart

After:

Candice thinks it looks good. I think it's a little too short for Mika. Mika was harry, but that's her look. Not sure if you can see it, but she has bows behind her ears. I guess it's good for the summer, but I think Petsmart over charges for my 20lb dog.

Finally!

So, Brandon has been busy adding blogs every so often but this is my first time even signing in. Whoops! I suppose I can't let it be a blog just for him!

All has been well after the wedding day and we are glad to be able to relax. It was our first weekend home without wedding plans to fill our day and we enjoyed every bit of it. :) We already opened all our gifts and were so thrilled with the results. However, we didn't receive much in the linens dept and decided to use our exchanged gifts towards new sheets, bath rugs, etc. I suppose most people like to buy kitchen appliances for the new married couple!

We were so thankful that we almost every single person that rsvp'd came out to support us...even on a Friday! It was the best day of my life and turned out perfectly. We couldn't have asked for a better party! Thought I'd share some pics for you all!

HWY 46 between Cambria and Paso Robles

I decided to take HWY46 to get to Morro Bay. It's less windy compared to HWY 41. As we were driving we decided to stop at this vista point where you can see Morro Bay and the Rock. I think it's pretty cool being way up high and looking down. We drove by Hearst Castle too since Candice hasn't been there before. We didnt go up, just drove by to show her. Maybe in the near future we'll go there.

Since Candice was snapping pictures with her phone I decided this was a perfect opportunity to steal some pictures for my car. So here are a couple that I shot.

Our Wedding

So just a few quick notes. Last night was my wedding and we had a lot of fun. If no one reads my blog it's alright. It's a way for me to tell everyone want's on my mind. So the first funny thing was that I couldn't remember the words the pastor was saying to me that I had to recite. Then for the speeches, Candice started bawling and I had to talk. I dont talk so I made everyone laugh...on purpose/accident, but it's what I do. Then during dancing my song came on. Growing up I had the Vanilla Ice cassette. I think I was one of 100 people who bought it. Well the lyrics were on the inside sleeve so I always replayed Ice Ice Baby and read a long. The lyrics are burned into my brain and I dont know how I remember pretty much the entire song. So when the song came on, everyone was telling me to get on the stage and sing it; so I did. I think I did a pretty good job. It was like a concert. I had 3 rows of crowd and a hot groupee to my left. I cant believe I did it, but it was a lot of fun. I guess I could do karaokee.

G8 GT

I finally got this to send from my blackjack 2. Actually this was a test message to get my mobile set up for MMS to blog. It took a while, but I figured it out. I like to think I'm gifted when it comes to problem solving. Comment and I shall reveal the strategy if anyone is interested.

3 Days Left

Well we're in the last week until the "Big Day". I think we're ready. We've been ready for a long time now. It's just now it's all going down. I have a few more projects to complete and I hope to be done by Wednesday night.

Sorry for our out-dated website. I haven't really made any updates for quite some time now. I switched hosting so that's one of the problems I had to change. After the wedding we'll blog more often. We may not have our website anymore but we'll definitely have this blog page.

Wish me luck!
